About Jerry:

October 15, 1941 - April 10, 2024​

Jerry Lee Mucke, age 82, of Belton, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

 

Jerry was born on October 15, 1941 in Belton, MO to Henry Anthony and Leona Catherine (Goebel) Mucke. On October 15, 1982, he married Lynette Evans in Liberty, MO. Jerry worked with his father as a blacksmith doing welding services. After college, he went to work at H&R Block. He became a district manager and managed 12 offices, from Claycomo, MO to Fort Leavenworth, KS. He retired after 40 years of tax service.

 

Jerry's family members were founders of the St. Sabina Catholic Church in Belton. Jerry and his family were also involved with Hosanna Lutheran Church in Liberty, MO, where he provided accounting and support.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Leona; and his brothers, Vernon and Wayne Mucke.

 

Jerry leaves his wife, Lynette of the home; his children, Chris Mucke of Novi, MI, Gilbert and wife Amy Mucke of Edwards, MO, Wendy Mucke of Walden, NY, Angela and husband Chris Vazquez of Kansas City, MO, and Chad and wife Carrie Evans of Kansas City, MO.

 

Jerry also leaves behind twelve grandchildren: Riley, Courtney, and Lauren Mucke of Novi, MI; Nichole Rice of Fort Worth, TX; Brandon Mucke of Sedalia, MO; Katherine Fitzsimmons of Avon, IN; Nathaniel Mucke of Walden, NY; Jack Mallette of Yorkville, NY; Michael and Alex Vazquez of Liberty, MO; Ally and Emma Evans of Liberty, MO; and Jerry's sister Donna M. Brewer of San Antonio, TX.
